Icons and Illuminations
Icons and Illuminations was created in response to the election of Donald Trump and attempts to lift up words and images of beauty, resilience, truth, and meaning in the midst of chaos. Each artwork is for sale with a portion of proceeds benefitting different social justice organizations. If you’d like to purchase a piece, you can contact me at marybethbutton@gmail.com. On Friday, November 10th there will be a blow out celebration of the series at Midtown Crossing Grill in Memphis. Come out from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., buy some art (in addition to the original artworks, prints, and banners will also be for sale) and make some good.
